Episode Overview

As Akane, Kogami, and Shuusei make their way into the Nona Tower, Makishima plans to create a distraction at the top while Guseong infiltrates the Sibyl System's secret basement. Kogami and Akane choose to pursue Makishima upward, leaving Shuusei to explore the depths below. Once in the hidden basement, Shuusei loses his network connection and uncovers the dark truth about the Sibyl System. Meanwhile, Kogami and Makishima face off, and although Makishima gains the upper hand, Akane manages to subdue him. Kogami urges Akane to finish Makishima, but she restrains herself. In the basement, Shuusei defeats the guards and confronts Guseong, only to witness Kasei, a cyborg, kill Guseong and then take control of her Dominator to aim it at him.
