Sonja suggests to Heathcliff that he should shed a few pounds, prompting him to embark on a crash diet with the help of the Alley Cats. Whenever Heathcliff feels tempted to indulge in food, either Mungo or Hector quickly swoops in to take it away. After some time, Heathcliff proudly informs Sonja that he has dropped ten pounds. To his surprise, she reveals that her affection for him isn’t dependent on his size, leading him to revert back to his old eating habits without hesitation.
