Episode Overview
In hurricane-damaged Florida, the Harvey family is struggling to make ends meet in their termite-ridden house with waterlogged ceilings. Mr. Harvey, diagnosed with adult epilepsy, is unable to hold a job, forcing his wife to take on two jobs to support the family. To alleviate some financial pressure, their college-aged son returns home to contribute. Meanwhile, Mr. Harvey volunteers his time assisting neighbors with various tasks. Seeking help, the Harveys apply to EM-HE, leading to an unexpected intervention from Ty Pennington and ABC, who come to their aid.
