Overview
Set in Paris during 1871, the narrative unfolds within the opulent walls of a brothel named 'Paradise.' Young Rose arrives in the city hoping to reunite with her mother, a former sex worker, but finds herself ensnared in the very world she sought to escape. At 35, Vera faces the twilight of her career, placing her hopes on Baron Du Plessis, her affluent patron, who holds the key to her financial freedom. Meanwhile, Hortense, the brothel’s owner, grapples with the responsibility of protecting her girls while fending off a menacing thug demanding payment.
