Episode Overview
In "Making Whoopi," Fran is heartbroken after discovering from Dr. Reynolds that her pregnancy was a false alarm. To shield her from further disappointment, Maxwell hides the pregnancy tests and invites Fran and her family to his Hollywood Squares appearance. Seeking advice, Val, Sylvia, and Yetta suggest Fran visit a herbalist to boost Maxwell's fertility. At the herbal shop, she purchases a shake to energize Maxwell's sperm and some cookies to enhance their chemistry. When hormones and an ovulation kit don't yield results, Fran finds an unexpected solution in Whoopi Goldberg's dressing room. Meanwhile, C.C. and Niles unintentionally indulge in the cookies and develop feelings for each other, while Val decides to stop her brightness pills due to their uncomfortable side effects.
