CHiPs S01E05 - Career Day

Episode Overview

Ponch finds himself issuing a ticket to his former high school principal, who had invited him to speak about the CHP during career day. Meanwhile, he and Jon are dispatched to handle a traffic jam, only to discover that onlookers are distracted by nearby models. With Ponch's motorcycle in the shop, Getraer assigns him to the front desk. When a helicopter pilot arrives, Ponch eagerly seizes the opportunity to escape. In the chopper, he assists Jon in locating a lost child and tracking down two elusive thieves. Later, as Ponch addresses the students, he momentarily freezes, but Jon steps in to share the story of the rescue. Eventually, Ponch regains his composure and begins spinning wild tales on his own.
