A beautifully crafted walnut piano stool arrives at the workshop of furniture restorer Will Kirk. Its owner, Mary, cherishes it deeply, as it brings back fond memories of the woman who mentored her during her teenage years. Meanwhile, horologist Steve Fletcher is tasked with reviving a unique object that has been out of commission for over three decades. Simon, the owner, brings in a non-functional speedometer from his 1920s vintage car. Despite being an engineer who has worked on every part of his beloved vehicle, he’s struggled to fix the speedometer, leading to a complete disassembly for troubleshooting. Additionally, basketry expert Sarah Hatton takes on the restoration of a cherished wicker baby crib that has been a family heirloom for generations.
