Blandings

Overview
Set in the idyllic yet chaotic Blandings Castle, this British comedy series brings P.G. Wodehouse’s beloved stories to life. Adapted by Guy Andrews, it first aired on BBC One in January 2013. The eccentric Lord Emsworth, played by Timothy Spall, battles with his domineering sister Lady Constance, portrayed by Jennifer Saunders, while Mark Williams stars as the ever-resourceful butler Beach. Partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the show is a delightful romp through aristocratic mishaps and misunderstandings.
