Overview
A young pickpocket takes on the role of a maid in a secluded estate owned by an heiress under the strict oversight of her uncle. Unbeknownst to the heiress, her new servant is part of a cunning scheme orchestrated by a conman masquerading as a gentleman. His plot is to charm the heiress into eloping, steal her wealth, and confine her to an asylum. However, as the maid and heiress grow closer, they find themselves entangled in unforeseen emotions, complicating the swindler's malicious intentions.
