Episode Overview

Jo San and Jo Yon listen intently as their father, Jo Shou, shares the story of Houhou's past. He recalls his childhood when his parents rescued Houhou from a brutal attack by men in the mountains of rural China. At that time, she was silent and had lost all her memories except for her name. Jo Shou began to live with her, and together they worked hard, with Houhou training to harness her ki while Jo Shou helped her farm. However, their peaceful existence was shattered when bandits raided the village, targeting Houhou. Jo Shou’s father pleaded for her safety, but the bandits struck with their weapons. What fate befell his father? What became of Houhou?
