Burnistoun

Overview
Set in a quirky fictional town near Glasgow, Burnistoun delivers sharp comedy through a series of engaging sketches. Crafted by Scottish comedians Iain Connell and Robert Florence, the show features a vibrant cast, including Kelly McGlade, the town's pop diva; Paul and Walter, the bizarre brothers managing an ice cream van; and Jolly Boy John, whose outlandish tales are set to an upbeat soundtrack. Other memorable characters include the inseparable Scott and Peter, along with the Burnistoun Butcher, a serial killer frustrated by his media portrayal. After two successful seasons, the third and final series premiered in August 2012.
