Kevin and his fellow animals swallow a strong sedative to deal with the chaos of the Fourth of July in Queens. As he drifts through the effects, Kevin begins to reconsider his choice to turn down Dana and lead a solitary life. Meanwhile, Cupcake foils Armando's plans to escape into a lucid dream. Seth makes an effort to rescue stray dogs in hopes of winning Brandi's admiration. Judy steps in to assist Peter in making a good impression on his parents during their visit.
