Episode Overview

While on Cave Island, Ash and his companions encounter Clair, the Gym Leader from Blackthorn City in Johto. She’s on a quest to capture a rare, differently colored Druddigon, but has lost her Dragonite. When they locate her Dragonite, Iris’s Dragonite immediately takes a disliking to it, sparking a clash between the two. This unexpected brawl complicates Clair's efforts to search for the unique Druddigon, which is located on the opposite side of the island from where they first arrived.
