Episode Overview

Title: Ruler of the Ropes! Plot: Ash reaches the site of the Battle Pike, eager to take on the challenge. However, Team Rocket deceives him into entering a counterfeit Battle Pike and manages to snatch Pikachu. With assistance from the authentic Frontier Brain—Pike Queen Lucy—they rescue Pikachu. Ash then confronts Lucy to a duel, and despite it being her day off, she agrees to battle, partially motivated by her feelings for Brock. As their match unfolds, Ash quickly discovers that Lucy is a formidable opponent. Will Ash emerge victorious, and who will Brock support?
