Episode Overview

While traveling to Los Angeles, a retired actor and his wife take a break at a motel, where MacGyver intervenes to protect them from a drunken man who almost damages their vehicle. MacGyver is there to meet a mobster-turned-informant, but the encounter takes a deadly turn when the mob arrives and kills his friend before he can share crucial information. In the chaos, the bag containing the vital details ends up in the couple's car, and the old actor soon uncovers its contents—an unexpected stash of cash.
