Episode Overview

During her quest to locate a Spanish treasure fleet, Dr. Barbara Ortega's vessel is seized by contemporary pirates. They make off with the limited treasure she has already uncovered, including a crucial ship's log that holds the secret to locating the entire fleet. After revealing her hijacking to the public, the Phoenix Foundation dispatches MacGyver to assist her. Together, MacGyver and Barbara set out to retrieve the ship's log, determined to find the treasure before the pirates can get their hands on it.
