Episode Overview

Joe (David Thewlis) finds himself envious of his identical twin brother, Harry, who enjoys a carefree bachelor life, supported by a comfortable army pension. In contrast, Joe is stuck in a dead-end job, burdened with financial struggles, bickering children, a live-in mother, and a wife he believes has lost interest in him. One evening, while watching a football game, Harry suddenly chokes on a candy and collapses. As Joe waits for the ambulance, he realizes an incredible opportunity is within reach. He changes into Harry's clothes and assumes his brother's identity. At the hospital, the real Joe is declared dead, leaving him to console his wife, Mary (Bronagh Gallagher). Can Joe maintain the ruse of being her brother-in-law?
