Episode Overview
Ren is taken aback when she discovers Louis rummaging through her closet for Hanukkah gifts. In his frantic attempt to escape, he makes a mess of her room and accidentally damages Donnie's trophy. Louis eventually locates the presents in the basement. Meanwhile, Ren asks her mom to recount the Hanukkah story, given her Jewish heritage. Hearing his dad approaching, Louis quickly wraps the gifts in a blanket and dangles them from his window, but they tumble down to the driveway. The family is upset with him, and feeling dejected, Louis laments his place in the family. In a flash of light, Louis is visited by the spirit of his great-great-great-great grandmother, Bubbie Rose. Having overheard his complaints, she offers to show him what life would be like had he never been born. They embark on a journey to explore this alternate reality.
