Louis is feeling anxious about his father's law firm's family picnic, especially since Steve Stevens is hell-bent on securing the decathlon win for the third consecutive year. Despite his attempts to back out, the weight of family tradition pulls him in. While he struggles as a competitor, the family finds themselves in a tight contest against the Dandridges from Australia. When Donny injures himself, Louis is forced to step in for the crucial father-son kayak race. Determined to please his dad, he sabotages Quincy Dandridge's boat to ensure victory. After the win, guilt consumes Louis, and during dinner, he confesses to cheating. To his surprise, Donny, Ren, and Eileen also admit to bending the rules. Mr. Stevens, feeling responsible for the pressure, reflects on the day's events.
