Lance orchestrates an attack by Cole, ensuring it's witnessed, and then appears in court with severe injuries, falsely accusing Cole of the assault. With the witness backing Lance's claims, the judge dismisses Cole and Linda's case. Meanwhile, at the Gioberti residence, Maggie and Chase uncover that Jacqueline’s ties to Johann Riebmann and Henri Denault link her to war crimes. Although Maggie chooses not to publish her findings in The New Globe, Emma shockingly prints the story on the front page without their knowledge, mirroring Angela's manipulative ways. Richard grows anxious when Spheeris contacts him about the cartel's anger over the article.
