Episode Overview
As Michael and Dr. Heller successfully extract the last of Maggie's tumor, tragedy strikes when her heart suddenly stops. In a frantic effort, they revive her, but she slips into a coma. Michael, acknowledging the situation's gravity, concedes that only God can determine Maggie's fate. Meanwhile, Angela fervently prays for Maggie, Julia, and Falcon Crest, finding solace in her renewed bond with Philip, whom she hopes to trust again. On a different front, Richard is furious to discover that Chase has redirected Jacqueline's $50 million trust to a convent in Paris just when he needs funds. Compounding his distress, the cartel's scheme against him endangers Pamela's life. After her kidnapping, Richard realizes that despite maintaining control over the racetrack, the cartel has seized the one thing he values most: Pamela.
