Title: There's Something Living In My Knee Plot: A young boy, just 4 years old, faces a severe health crisis as he struggles with an overwhelming buildup of mucus due to the Enterovirus D68 outbreak. Meanwhile, a 7-year-old boy injures his knee while playing at the beach. When his dad applies a liquid bandage, the injury balloons to the size of an orange. To their shock, his mom finds a sea snail (Littorina scutulata) inside when she squeezes the wound. Additionally, a college student experiences troubling symptoms like loss of appetite, fatigue, fever, and jaundice after contracting malaria from the Plasmodium falciparum parasite during a trip to Ghana.
