Episode Overview
Title: Angie's Choice Plot: After witnessing the notorious mobster Stevie Ray murder Tommy Chen, Angie Bloom, a former sex worker, goes into hiding. Before vanishing, she entrusts her young children, Nicky and Lindsey, to Hardcastle for their safety. Initially reluctant to reveal their identities, the children eventually confirm their connection to Angie. Meanwhile, Hardcastle and McCormick sense danger when a failed kidnapping attempt occurs. Following a lead, Hardcastle visits an ex-madam named Dolores, which helps the judge track down Angie. Believing Hardcastle has her best interests at heart, Angie shares her story. To safeguard her, Hardcastle arranges for her to testify against Stevie. Unfortunately, the officers sent to escort Angie turn out to be Stevie’s associates. Realizing the danger, Hardcastle and McCormick interrogate one of Stevie's men, then use the information to locate and rescue Angie, capturing Stevie in the process.
