Five out of the ten chefs are back to face Monica and Gregg in a crucial skills challenge, where they must showcase their sugar-spinning abilities and create three uniquely decorated pannacotta within a tight ten-minute timeframe. The judges will then decide who will leave the competition, as only the top four chefs will get the chance to cook for the esteemed Michel Roux Jnr. The pressure escalates as these four chefs must impress the Michelin-starred chef by recreating his classic dish, mackerel three ways—an escabeche, tartare, and sashimi—all within an hour. Each chef must focus on intricate presentation and delicate flavors to stand out. Next, they must prepare their own signature dish for Michel and Gregg in just one hour. With everything on the line, tensions rise as the judges evaluate each creation based on taste and presentation, ultimately sending one more chef home. The top three will advance to the quarterfinals, inching closer to the title of Professional MasterChef.
