Episode Overview

Stirling finds himself imprisoned in Colditz, Hitler's most fortified facility. The SAS is now under the command of Paddy Mayne, a skilled battlefield warrior who doesn't care for the niceties of military hierarchy. In 1943, the SAS transitions from the deserts of North Africa to the more perilous and intricate battlegrounds of Europe, under the leadership of a man often intoxicated, unruly, and prone to brutal behavior. They confront the looming threat of execution and the haunting reality of civilian losses, and they become the first to bear witness to the horrors of the Belsen concentration camp.
