Episode Overview
In a bid to evade the Church's inquisition and revitalize the faltering French army, Montmorency promotes Jeanne as a "female saint." Their journey leads them to the newly established French Royal Palace. He believes that reuniting with old allies Charlotte and Richemont will help him bring an end to the war. However, Grand Chamberlain La Tremoille has sinister intentions and sets a number of ruthless traps in their path.
