Before he can fix the mess, Milly announces Cupid Day, where any girl can claim a boy as her boyfriend by stealing his hat. With Rolo and Sayoko’s help, Lelouch dodges the pursuing girls. In a quiet moment, he and Shirley exchange hats and talk about recent events. Meanwhile, Bismark Waldstein reports to the Emperor that Schneizel plans to threaten the Chinese Federation rather than wage open war. Cornelia, desperate to clear Euphemia’s name, confronts General Bartley, who warns that the Emperor’s actions could destroy the world. As Suzaku and Lloyd discuss the Guren, Nunnally visits Kallen in prison. Then Jeremiah arrives in Area 11 and uses his Geass Canceller on Shirley, restoring her memories of Zero’s identity.
