Episode Overview
Suzaku resolves not to sink to Lelouch’s level and abandons his plan to use Refrain on Kallen. He instead goes to Ashford Academy, where he discovers the Intelligence Agency has fallen under Lelouch’s control. In the woods, Ohgi and Villetta meet; she intends to kill him, but he confesses his love for her. Sayoko intervenes, leading to a struggle in which Ohgi is injured and tumbles off a cliff—Villetta jumps after him. Meanwhile, Nina and her team at In Vogue successfully conduct their first nuclear bomb test. Lelouch confronts the Emperor atop the Sword of Akasha, learning he has taken V.V.’s Code, granting immortality. C.C. appears, reveals her wish is to die, and transports Lelouch to C’s World for safety, where he witnesses her past. Understanding her true desire, he returns, vowing to be the one to grant it
