On his first day, DI Dave Creegan teams up with DI Susan Taylor to look into the alarming abduction of three young schoolboys taken in daylight. As Creegan digs deeper, he uncovers a connection to two other boys who vanished in Stuttgart three years earlier. However, when surveillance on his main suspect proves unproductive, Taylor grows apprehensive about Creegan's singular focus and urges him to explore alternative leads in the case.
