On November 23, 1996, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 is compelled to make an emergency landing in the ocean after depleting its fuel supply. Tragically, the plane disintegrates upon impact as the wings strike the water, resulting in the deaths of 125 individuals. The aircraft was taken over by hijackers who dismissed the pilot's claims about insufficient fuel to reach their intended destination in Australia, ultimately leading to the catastrophic situation.
