Jem S02E03 - Starbright (3): Rising Star

Episode Overview

While filming a perilous motorcycle scene, Kimber finds herself in the midst of explosions triggered by Roxy and Clash, narrowly escaping death. Furious, Jem and the Holograms decide to walk away from the project, along with most of the crew who witnessed the chaos. Determined, Jem inspires the remaining crew to press on with a fresh storyline and title: Starbright. Meanwhile, the Misfits' overbearing attitude leads the rest of the original crew to abandon the production. Disguised, Clash infiltrates the Starbright set to gather intel but is caught by Georgia, the former makeup artist. After Clash swipes the tape of Jem's near-miss, a thrilling car chase ensues, resulting in the tape being reclaimed. Starbright becomes a massive hit, while the Misfits' film flops. The Holograms use their first box office earnings to fund Ba Nee's successful surgery.
