Episode Overview

When Mike shows up at Val and Dave’s house, he initially thinks he’s just there for some exterior repairs. However, stepping inside reveals a much bigger problem. The project was meant to address faulty brickwork, with crumbling bricks causing the chimney to lean precariously and requiring urgent replacement to prevent a collapse. Inside, Mike is taken aback by the overwhelming clutter. Every room is filled with piles of belongings reaching the ceilings, and the basement is so packed that it’s impossible to conduct a basic electrical and HVAC inspection. Realizing the magnitude of the situation, Mike decides that a cleanup intervention is essential to help the homeowners regain control of their space.
