Ally McBeal S02E05 - Story Of Love

Episode Overview

Ally finds herself in handcuffs after getting into a brawl with Hannah, a young woman overwhelmed by her best friend’s betrayal involving her boyfriend. Ally later offers to defend Hannah in court, only to discover that Hannah frequently dismisses her lawyers. Meanwhile, George Madison returns to the firm seeking legal advice on launching his own magazine and hopes Ally will assist him, which frustrates Elaine. In an effort to win George's affection, Elaine has a heartfelt conversation with Ally, urging her not to take George away. Meanwhile, Cage experiences an awkward interaction with Nelle after she mocks his pet frog, which he is determined to win with in a jumping contest. Hannah’s trial concludes with a brief but passionate defense from Oren Koolie, leaving the fate of her case in the jury's hands.
