Victor's long-time friend, EMILIO LOPEZ, has faced a tumultuous life, earning him a troubled adulthood. To Victor's mother, ROSA, Emilio is like a son. Recently released on parole, Emilio has secured a position at the local high school. Unbeknownst to Victor, Emilio is running a car theft operation that has already resulted in a fatality. Victor finds himself in a race against time to confront his best friend, who's desperate to avoid returning to prison.
