Episode Overview

Captain Kenpachi Zaraki of the 11th Division clashes with 6th Division's Byakuya Kuchiki while Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi pursues Ashisogi Jizō. Meanwhile, 12th Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi makes his Zanpakutō Spirit self-destruct and warns everyone against intervening. Muramasa leads Byakuya to Captain-Commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, who is encased in a barrier protected by a mysterious dark-haired woman, two white-haired boys, and a cloaked figure.
