Billy informs Amanda that he and Alison have rekindled their relationship. In response, Amanda removes Alison from the Microcomp account due to her past romantic ties with the client. As Amanda continues with her plan to evict Jake, Jo stands firm and refuses to testify against him. However, Amanda changes her mind when she needs Jake's assistance with a plumbing issue. Meanwhile, Palmer reveals his guilt to Amanda before leaving town, prompting her to reconnect with Jake. Jo attends her ten-year high school reunion and unexpectedly encounters Reed, an ex-boyfriend just released from prison, who later appears at her apartment. Michael experiences a significant improvement during physical therapy, regaining the use of his legs. Meanwhile, Sydney gets caught for prostitution, but Michael bails her out, agreeing to keep it under wraps if she helps him break up Jane and Robert.
