After discovering that Megan has returned to her old life on the streets, Michael decides to take her back. Meanwhile, a woman files a lawsuit against Sydney after sustaining an injury from a display at the boutique. Kyle's attempts to push Taylor out of their business partnership backfire when Sydney inadvertently reveals to Peter that she and Kyle had an affair. Alison is stuck in bed due to pregnancy complications, but she catches up on the latest gossip through the arguments happening outside. She overhears Taylor mentioning that Peter is her brother-in-law. Though Jake thinks Alison should stay out of it, he shares this information with Amanda, who feels guilty about the couple's breakup. Amanda insists on confronting Peter, making him realize that Taylor’s presence at the building was intentional. Meanwhile, Matt struggles with Chelsea's rebellious streak, which leads her to run away after she hears him agree to let her stay with his mother.
