Episode Overview
Ross firmly believes George will be defeated in the upcoming election and sets out to have a headstone crafted for Agatha's grave, a task Trenwith has failed to address. Meanwhile, George grows increasingly paranoid about Dwight's connection to Valentine, isolating himself from Elizabeth. Rowella starts to charm Osborne Whitworth, while Demelza receives affectionate gestures from Hugh. Sam continues to yearn for Emma, as Dwight advises Osborne to avoid intimacy with Morwenna. Cary informs Lord Falmouth that the Warleggans will stand against him in the election. Upon returning from the mine, Ross finds Hugh at Nampara with Demelza, and this time, Hugh's interest is apparent.
