Episode Overview
A string of murders in the Southwest USA draws Sam and the VCTF team into a perplexing case involving an unlikely duo: 32-year-old Josie Wells and 16-year-old Alex Lopez, who seemingly kidnapped her from a soccer field in Boulder, Colorado. Sam uncovers that Josie, a victim of childhood abuse, has fled her unhappy marriage, seeking solace in her past with the boy she connected with through a counseling hotline. At the same time, Bailey struggles to persuade his ex-wife, Janet, against remarrying, believing she’s making a grave mistake with her life.
