Karma S02E13 - Playing Hooky

Episode Overview

The girls decide to call in sick to work at Shotz and opt for a day of fun instead. They head to the movies, where Laverne can’t resist waving at some guys in the audience. Later, at a children’s park, Shirley goes off to grab fudgecicles. One of the guys from the theater approaches her briefly before returning to his friend. Back at their apartment, the guys, who have followed them, invite themselves inside. They play charades, and one of the guys heads out for pink champagne. He then offers the girls $100 to treat themselves, but when they accept, he handcuffs them, claiming they’re "pros." His partner returns to find them upset and learns about the entrapment. He swiftly orders the rookie to release Laverne and Shirley. To make amends, they invite the girls out for dinner to lift their spirits.
