From 1986 to 1987, the remains of several young women who had gone missing were unearthed in the Sacramento, California area. A notable connection among these sites was handyman Maurice Solomon Jr., who had either lived or worked at each location. Meanwhile, in Phoenix, Arizona, over a span of 13 months, violent ex-con Mark Goudeau was on a rampage, committing a series of murders, kidnappings, sexual assaults, and robberies primarily along Baseline Road.
