Kacchan, a dedicated boxer, has a tradition of treating himself to katsudon, his favorite pork cutlet over rice, after every victory. During one of his visits, he develops feelings for Akemi, a fellow regular at the restaurant. Just as their budding romance begins to blossom, an important match looms on the horizon, adding pressure to Kacchan's training and his feelings for Akemi.
