Episode Overview

A market trader's van is stolen on the moors, prompting Nick to launch an investigation. He becomes suspicious of Lord Ashfordly's son and ultimately arrests him for driving under the influence. Meanwhile, Kate inadvertently sparks a chicken pox outbreak when she starts a mother and baby group. Nick notices Claude sporting a brand new pair of boots that are several sizes too small, which he discovers are part of the stolen goods. Although Nick doubts Claude's involvement, Blaketon disagrees. A local girl confides in Kate about her pregnancy and the identity of the father. Eventually, Nick uncovers that the hijacker is actually the new chauffeur for Lord Ashfordly, who is also the father of the girl’s baby.
