Title: Bad Apple Plot: Claude reluctantly agrees to front bail for a burglar as a business deal, ultimately receiving his payment from the man’s affluent fiancée. Meanwhile, Nick surprises Jo with an engagement ring, which she proudly displays at the pub! However, the festive mood turns sour when Jo reveals her engagement to her parents. Her mother vehemently opposes the union, openly expressing her disdain for her daughter’s choice to marry a ‘village police officer’.
