Episode Overview

A young boy suffers injuries from a car accident, leading the driver to get tangled up with the police. However, Blaketon discovers that the situation is more complicated than it appears. Meanwhile, Jo's father is deeply affected by the passing of his wife. After his cap is found near a railway line and turned in to the authorities, Nick talks to him about it. He reveals he had contemplated ending his life but reconsidered when he thought of Jo. Nick empathizes, recalling his own pain from losing Kate. This heartfelt exchange helps mend their relationship, and Jo's father begins to accept Nick’s connection with his daughter. In the midst of this, Claude's brother Cyril arrives in search of real estate.
