Episode Overview
After overhearing Justin encouraging Ruthie to drink before their night out, Colin confronts Matt about it, clearly upset. While out, Ruthie ends up drinking excessively, and although Matt offers her a cab home, she declines and instead takes her friends on a wild ride. Back at home, Colin confronts Justin about his influence on Ruthie's drinking habits. The following day, the producer and director pull Ruthie aside for a serious talk about her dangerous behavior, insisting she see an addiction specialist if she wants to stay. When she shares this news with her roommates, they all rally around her in support. However, during her first session with Dr. Alathea, Ruthie expresses her discomfort with opening up to someone new. Meanwhile, Kaia tells Justin she wants to support Ruthie, but finds herself pulling away when Ruthie is intoxicated.
