Episode Overview
After spending nine years behind bars for espionage, Burt Brandon makes his way to a deserted well near Neverton, where he intends to retrieve classified information. However, he's swiftly eliminated by two agents. Before his demise, Burt manages to send a package to his daughter. Steed gets hold of this package but is surprised to discover that it contains a pulp Western novel titled "The Tale of the Big Why."
