The warehouse fire rages on, but Billy is saved and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, George and Kelly have discovered a suitable home and are preparing to move again. Nick makes the choice to keep Costas with him instead of placing him with foster parents. Driven by a desire to find his biological mother, Billy sets off on a search that worries his Nan. Kevin confides in Remy about Mickey's attack on Maggie, and she suggests he discreetly return the stolen ring to make it seem like Maggie lost it. A letter bomb detonates at a cosmetics company that tests on animals, causing chaos both at the site and in the postman's van. Ultimately, Billy succeeds in locating his mother.
