On the second day of the MasterChef competition, the contestants face a grueling Essential Skills Bootcamp led by new judge Matt Moran. The remaining 45 hopefuls must navigate three intense rounds, demonstrating their abilities in chip cutting, crafting mayonnaise, and breaking down chicken. At the end of each round, five contestants will be selected to face the Elimination Challenge, where they will have just 45 minutes to prepare the ideal batch of scones.
