As spring sweeps through Wellsville, love is in the air, and it seems everyone is falling hard. Big Pete finds himself infatuated with Ellen, a standout on the tennis team, while Ellen discovers her own feelings for him. Meanwhile, Pit Stain is completely taken with Nona. Despite his attempts to steer clear of romance with his mantra, "Love bites," Little Pete unexpectedly finds himself smitten with Eunice Puell, the mail lady.
